​The formation of Stability Scotland LIMITED began in 2015 and was launched the following year as training and competence consultants specialising in Oil & Gas related engineering and technical service providers. This leveraged the founder's 25 year expertise in hands-on technical roles, competence management, and technical training.

The name of the company was chosen to indicate that long term "Stability" could be improved within organisations if they maintain a focus on competence assurance and management within safety critical operations. Furthermore, being registered in Scotland as a limited company, the name Stability Scotland LIMITED was born.

Although Stability Scotland LIMITED still today maintains its original service offerings to UK and international clients, the company has diversified over the years to provide several other services and project support to clients within the Energy sector.

Over the last decade the company has become well known for its capabilities, value, and service quality by many UK and international clients in the pursuit of creating new or developing existing service lines and service offerings.
